Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Spend the day at leisure, acclimatizing to your new surroundings.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Depart from Kampala/Entebbe and drive to Kibale National Park, known as the “Primate Capital of the World. Check into your lodge and enjoy an evening at leisure visiting a nearby community for a cultural encounter and learn about traditional Ugandan customs.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale

Embark on an early morning chimpanzee tracking excursion in Kibale National Park. Encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat and observe their behavior from a safe distance. In the afternoon, take a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to spot birdlife and other primates.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart from Kibale and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Check into your lodge and relax amid the tranquil surroundings of the rainforest.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Hike through dense vegetation in search of mountain gorillas and spend an hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, reflecting on your gorilla encounter.

Day 6: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Depart from Bwindi and drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in the Virunga Mountains. Check into your lodge and enjoy the serene surroundings of the park.

Day 7: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga

Embark on a golden monkey tracking excursion in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Trek through bamboo forests in search of these rare primates and observe their playful antics. In the afternoon, explore the Batwa Cultural Trail and learn about the indigenous Batwa people.

Day 8: Return to Entebbe

Depart from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe. Arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
