Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and guidelines. The experience of observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat is both awe-inspiring and humbling.
After spending an hour with the gorillas, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to gain insight into the traditional Rwandan culture and lifestyle.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest

As you follow the trails, you’ll have the opportunity to observe these intelligent creatures swinging through the trees and interacting with each other.
In the afternoon, experience the exhilarating canopy walk, which offers a unique perspective of the forest from high above the ground. The canopy walkway provides stunning views of the forest canopy and is perfect for spotting birds and other wildlife.
