2 Days Jinja Mabira and Sezibwa Tour

On this 2-day Jinja Mabira and Sezibwa tour, our driver guide will pick you up in the morning, and we will drive eastwards through Kampala city. Our first stop is the Sezibwa River. Here, we take a nature walk around the bottom and at the top of the Sezibwa Falls. These waterfalls are a cultural site to the Baganda people of central Uganda. Our next stop is the Mabira rainforest. This is one of Uganda’s large green forests, covering over square kilometres. The Mabira forest is famous for the Grey-cheeked Mangabey, colobus, and Red-tailed Monkeys. Regarding birds in Mabira forest, there are the Great blue Turaco, Hooded Vulture, and Nahan’s francolin. We have a late lunch and relax by the River Nile.

On this 2-day Jinja Mabira and Sezibwa tour, after breakfast, you will visit the source of the Nile in Jinja. It is where Africa’s longest river begins its journey to the Mediterranean Sea through Sudan and Egypt. From here, the river travels over six thousand kilometres to the sea. The water from Lake Victoria needs four months to reach the Mediterranean Sea. We then visit Jinja town, the first industrial town of Uganda. In the afternoon, we reach Kampala or Entebbe. End.
